College tuition is more affordable with scholarships. Pima Community College, the PCC Foundation, and generous donors are ready to help you achieve your educational goals .

Scholarships are a great way to offset the cost of tuition; Pima offers several institutional scholarships and tuition awards. You may apply for these scholarships and see current offerings using Pima’s Scholarship Portal also known as ScholarshipUniverse.

Some need based scholarships require completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine financial need, so we highly encourage you to apply for federal student aid in addition to pursuing a scholarship to maximize your financial resources.

Financial Aid and Scholarship Outreach Request

Thank You for choosing Pima Community College to support your efforts in educating the public on financial aid and scholarships. We will try our best to accommodate your request as much as possible. Please take a moment to complete the following form. This allows us to prepare for your event and prevent overbooking our staff, in the event that we are unable to attend your event, we will work with you for future events or rescheduling if necessary.

Note: Our outreach services are not available in January, July nor August of each year due to the peak enrollment season at the start of the semester. The U.S. Department of Education announced that the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be fully available to all students on or before December 1, 2024. It is recommended to plan accordingly.

Many scholarships require completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) first, so we encourage you to apply for federal student aid before pursuing a scholarship.

Pima-funded scholarships

To offset the cost of tuition, Pima has created several institutional scholarships. Click on each scholarship for more information. You may apply for these scholarships and see current offerings using ScholarshipUniverse.

--> To apply for external scholarships (offered by outside donors and agencies) go to ScholarshipUniverse . This system will greatly reduce the amount of research you have to do to find external scholarships. It is simply based on your answers to questions.

If you are awarded a scholarship, your funds will be sent either to Pima or to you.

Scholarship questions

If you are a recipient of a Pima scholarship, please check Academic Works in MyPima to verify the award status. You may also check your Financial Aid page in MyPima to see if the award is pending or if it has been disbursed.

Tip: Write a thank you note to your scholarship donor. We also suggest checking with your donor before you drop or withdraw from a class, as this may affect your award and eligibility.
